Lyrics and I just don't go together, I'd be the first to admit it. My latest gaff, and one my wife can't stop making fun of; I thought the opening line to James Blunt's
You're Beautiful was, "My life is bread." It's really "My life is brilliant." But damn, "bread" got stuck in my head for some reason. Blunt, you're killing me here man.

Oh, but it got better... Phil proceeded to justify how the lyrics were "my life is bread". Saying it was some kind of metaphor. HUH?!? Like you knead it and caress it and then, um, get baked? What kind of message would THAT be?!?
I guess songs have been made about getting baked since, well, at least the 60's.
