When did track bikes become cool?
Wow, we're cool. When Wired has an article on fixies (track bikes) you know you've gone full circle. My brand spankin' new, custom Rock Lobster track frame is being built by Paul down in Santa Cruz as we speak. At least I hope it is. Frame builders exist completely outside of time and schedules ... otherwise I suppose they would have gotten day gigs. The new steed will replace my old frame that never really fit me. I've got short stubby legs and a long torso, so almost no standard sized frame feels quite right.
According to the article, I'll have street cred? What do you do with street cred? I've never had any street cred before! :)
