MacHeist and Upgrades

During the last dust up over MacHeist, I wrote Bundle of Upgrades?, and looked at where many of the applications in the bundle were in their release cycle. Not surprisingly many were nearing release of their next version. Though I admit, I was certainly wrong about Delicious Library. This year, apparently one app in the bundle, Speed Download pushed things a bit too far. They released Speed Download 5 on Feb 13, soon after the close of MacHeist which was on Jan 23rd. And oh-my-gosh, they didn't offer a free upgrade. I'm shocked, shocked I tell you.
Given the cost of the bundle, I'm not sure why anyone would expect it any other way, but apparently there's no limit to our sense of entitlement.
