Quittin' Time

Today I cleared out the office. It was my last "regular" day. My mood was bittersweet right up until I was walking out the door and to the car. Then this HUGE smile broke across my face and I felt absolutely wonderful.

On the drive home Caltrans had closed my usual exit off of 101 for construction and I waited 20 minutes at the next one. And you know what, even that didn't put a damper on my spirits. Ok, my wife was ready to kill me because I was darn close to making her late for work. But that smile just kept going.
