Nemo

The other day my oldest daughter (not quite four years old) and I were playing with Play-Doh. I can't remember exactly what we were making, it was a creature of some sort or other. We had created a couple eyeballs when she declared it wasn't an eyeball, it was Nemo (as in Pixar's "Finding Nemo").
"Huh? That's not Nemo. Nemo's a clown fish."
"No Dad, its Nemo!"
"Nemo?"
"Remember? When he was a baby?"
<long pause>
"Oh! Right! Nemo!"
And it did look like Nemo. At the very beginning of the movie they show Nemo as an egg, and our "eyeball" did have a striking resemblance.
Lately I've begun to feel like one of those old men on the highway doing 50mph while the kids whip past me like I'm standing still. This was just one more of those times.
